The Virginia College of Emergency Physicians recently decided to surrender their ITLS Charter for the geographical regions of Virginia and The District of Columbia. The West Virginia College of Emergency Physicians has made application to merge ITLSWV and ITLSVA creating a new chapter to be known as ITLS Mid-Atlantic. The proposed merger was approved by the ITLS Board of Directors on July 15, 2015 and is effective July 20, 2015.
